Room Eugène Mercier is located on the 2nd floor of the House. Under the roof, it offers a generous ceiling height which makes it particularly pleasant. Equipped with a Queen size bed (160x200cm) and a single bed (90x200cm), it is ideal for couples with or without children. It has its own private shower room with toilet, accessible from the room.
The lighting is arranged to highlight its magnificent wooden frame dating from 1790. The walls, painted in sand waves, offer a textured appearance that often surprises our guests.
This decoration, combined with furniture mixing wood, leather and steel, gives this room a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
A refrigerator and a welcome tray with its kettle, tea, coffee & herbal tea are at your disposal. The room is equipped with an individual air conditioning system.

Eugène Mercier (1838-1904) is famous for having founded the Mercier champagne house in Epernay in 1858. A true pioneer and marketing genius, he is renowned for his innovations in marketing and production. In particular, he introduced direct sales to the public and organized cellar tours for tourists, a revolution at the time.
Eugène Mercier was also a pioneer in communication and advertising. One of his most memorable actions was the construction of a gigantic champagne barrel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris, which could hold 200,000 bottles of champagne. This barrel was transported to Paris by 24 bullocks, attracting great public attention.
In 1895, Eugène Mercier initiated with the Lumière brothers, one of the very first advertising films. This visionary initiative was part of a broader strategy of Champagne Mercier to differentiate itself on the market by using innovative advertising techniques and thus capture a new clientele for Champagne. This collaboration shows how Eugène Mercier was ahead of his time in exploiting the media to promote his brand.
His name is today associated with one of the most recognized champagne brands and his innovations continue to influence the champagne industry.

Motorcyclists and cyclists will appreciate the ability to easily park their motorcycles under the secure, enclosed porch. For motorists, our 2 electric cars occupy our garage, there are different possibilities with nearby parking lots allowing you to easily park your car.
Linterfaces is located between the station and avenue de Champagne, access by train and public transport is very easy.
