Reducing the ecological impact of my guestrooms and promoting innovative responsible practices are part of my DNA and what I value within Linterfaces guesthouse. I am therefore proud to have been awarded several labels and certifications that reward my approach to sustainable tourism.
"Succeed with responsible marketing"
Linterfaces Guesthouse – Laureate 2023 – “Offer Optimization” Category
For the past 10 years, « Réussir avec un Marketing Responsable » highlights companies that combine business success with social and environmental responsibility. The jury is made up of rigorous and committed professionals, experts and institutions. The initiative proves that responsible marketing can reveal the best contributions of companies to society and the environment, while ensuring sustainable profitability.
Linterfaces guesthouse was rewarded for its initiative to reduce the carbon footprint associated with its guests’ stay. In addition to this, Linterfaces Chambres D’hôtes decided on its scale to demonstrate that a company could operate and develop commercially without external advertising but only with digital word-of-mouth by promoting its commitments on environmental impact.
The criteria that allowed us to be rewarded:
- Innovative nature: this initiative provides a free solution to guests (the loan of 2 electric cars) and responds to the problem of their mobility concerning their tourist accommodation.
- Creation of value for the company (turnover increased by 62% over the last 2 years) and an additional free service for visitors
- Environmental impact:
- 1kg of CO2 saved per night per guest
- 1kg of CO2 saved every 10km travelled by electric car
- 8T of CO2 saved since the opening of Linterfaces Guesthouse
Linterfaces guesthouse is the only winner in the offer optimization category. This is the first time that ADEME has rewarded a self-employed entrepreneur and the first year that the hotel sector has been rewarded. The ACCOR group was also rewarded in the “eco-design of the offer” category.
An innovative accommodation concept
Linterfaces guesthouse is located in a completely renovated house from the 18th century. It is set back from the street, sheltered by an exceptional interior courtyard. Right in the city centre, its calm and peaceful atmosphere will amaze you, a true haven of peace!
The ecological aspect is very important to me. I provide you with 2 electric Renault Zoé free of charge (for stays of 2 nights minimum) to allow you to visit the region while reducing your CO2 emissions. During your stay, I record the CO2 savings you make.
Green Key certification
The Green Key is a global ecological certification program aimed at promoting sustainable tourism by recognizing establishments that implement environmentally friendly practices.
Developed in France since 1988, the Green Key label is, by the number of labelled establishments and its anteriority, the first ecolabel for tourist establishments in France.
I am proud that Linterfaces guesthouse is one of the fifty or so Green Key-labeled guesthouses in France since 2024.
Alongside, I am participating in a European project at the hotel trade level to think about energy savings.

Trophées Horizons 2024
Organized by the ATD association (Acteurs du Tourisme Durable - Sustainable Tourism Actors) and supported by ADEME (the French ecological transition agency), the Horizon Trophy aims to reward the most innovative and inspiring initiatives in sustainable tourism, implemented by committed professionals. The goal is to inspire change in the tourism sector.
Linterfaces guesthouse is a finalist for the 2024 Horizon Trophy in the "mobility and management of tourist flows" category. The winner is Normandie Tourisme for its low-carbon rate.
The Horizons Trophy in figures: 114 applications, 35 finalists, 13 winners.

Guide Vert Michelin
Linterfaces chambres d’hôtes is listed in the Guide Vert Michelin “Champagne Ardenne”.
Entitled “Une folie” (a madness), the insert in the Guide Vert highlights the historic residence that houses Linterfaces, the delightful breakfast as well as the ecological aspect with the loan of electric cars.
The Guide Vert Michelin offers detailed information on sites to visit, accommodation and restaurants, and practical advice for travellers. It includes itineraries, maps, and a rating system for attractions.
